Okay folks...I think I've kept this one to myself long enough...
and I'm gonna flip if someone else already has this.

I have, for your amusement, a PROTOTYPE ADAM cartridge, which is
called, and I quote "16-up Disk Drive Burnin R1.0."

Now, you're probably asking, "What does it do?" Well, I'm glad
you asked...because I'm wondering the exact same thing myself :)

I suspect that this cart was used exclusively at the Coleco plant
manufacturing the disk drives and serves to test the drives
before shipping for errors. I don't quite know how to use it,
but apparently it does step tests, etc. etc. on the drive.

I bought this little gem in one of the internet auctions. There
was some other proto stuff like this for sale (test DDP drives,
main console,Super game controllers, etc. etc.) This is pretty
genuine...no cartridge plastic, just the board and a socketed
EPROM.

I have used GAMESA on it, and saved it to disk...if anyone wants
a copy...drop me an email and I'll send it to you (12K).

*Geoff!*
